Project Type

The purpose is to design and develop a web-based reporting system for the administrator, where the administrator could generate several reports based on the data provided by the third-party system. There would also be a desktop application that would be installed on the local device (PC, laptops) and that would get information from the desktop or laptop at a regular time interval and send it to the central server or it could extract the CSV information and it would be able to generate reports based on that information.

Key Challenges

• The biggest technical challenge among us was matching the report as per the sensor installed on client's end.
• Another major challenge was to add unique, useful and advanced features in this system so that it will make the task easy for the admin.

Our Development Process

• The Discovery Phase- Our business analysts performed a lot of research and brainstorming before the app development process. At the end of the discovery phase the “Who, Why, What, When and Where” of the project were thoroughly scrutinized.
• The Execution Phase- After gathering all the nuts and bolts to proceed, it was time for project execution. Our designers, developers and quality analysts followed agile development process for execution and worked side-by-side to achieve the project aims. Our project managers also did regular reviews to check the progress of the project went smoothly and according to the time.
• Sprint Base Project Delivery-We took client’s feedback on each stage of development and applied the feedback in the project. It helped us to meet the client’s expectations in the best possible manner.
• The Deployment Phase- Now, app was ready to be unleashed to the world after rigorous development & testing period. We deployed the app in the appstore.

The system now facilitates the production of reports to display data in documents and web-based formats that means its efficiency is increased by over 100%. With the solution, the client's satisfaction index has increased from 60% to 90%, increasing the overall business growth by greater than 38%.
